Very good. The orthopaedic field is suffering from a shortage of qualified workers, creating the opportunity for immediate employment. New students and medical professionals are welcome. Job placement assistance is a part of the program. However, entry into the program may be competitive (as space will be limited), because this is the only program of its kind in the state of Texas.
Certification Exam Information?
Upon completion of the Orthopaedic Technology Training Program students will receive a certificate of completion. Students wishing to be certified nationally can sit for The National Board of Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists (NBCOT) exam. This program prepares students to challenge this certification exam.
