Curriculum
This course prepares the student to work in:
- Orthopaedic clinics
- Hospitals
- Orthopaedic wards
- Operating rooms
- Skilled nursing facilities.
Sterile technique will be reviewed as it relates to assisting in the operating room on minor and major procedures, as well as in a clinical setting. Basic patient care, emergency procedures, “bed side manor” terminology and functioning in the healthcare industry.
