Blue Ash Education Center
The Blue Ash Education Center is dedicated to the training and continued training of those interested in the field of Orthopaedics. The Center is a resource for the Certified as well as the un-Certified Orthopedic Tech, or individual working or planning to join the field.
There are those who work in clinics, hospitals, jail wards, emergency rooms, etc. and would like to upgrade their skill in casting, bracing, terminology or learn a specific application, or product, the Center is a support for that professional as well. The Center is a training network, which will include vendors, medical employers and anyone already in the field.
Blue Ash Education Center is here for the education of the cast tech, medical assistants, physician interns and doctors. The Center is for anyone wishing to improve their skill or become a Certified Orthopaedic Technologist.
The Center is neutral to any competitiveness of vendors or rival businesses competing in the market. The Center is a resource for all, dedicated to the education and betterment of Orthopaedic Technology.
The Center will be a resource for those looking to employ skilled Orthopaedic (technicians, cast techs) technologists and those looking to be employed.
Blue Ash Education Center supports the guidelines and rules of the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists (NAOT) and the Texas Chapter. We believe that through education training and dedication the field will maintain its professionalism and sense of pride which so many have contributed to over the years. It is believed by some that one day the Orthopaedic Technologist Certified will become a licensed position.
If you have a desire to host a training class, or you have a particular knowledge and would like to demonstrate your technique, contact the Center, we would like to help. We are looking for any educational materials or devices which date back, that would help with the history of the field.
We are inviting all vendors of brace, casting materials, soft goods, and equipment to support the Center, sign up to show and demonstrate your products.
We are also inviting hospitals, surgical suites, and clinics to participate with externships, and all who wish to submit any suggestions that would help your practice with a better trained employee.
Watch for upcoming seminars, refresher courses and symposiums to be held. Physicians and practices remember "a better trained employee is less work for you and a greater peace of mind".
